Bear River offers two internal tracking products, BearTracks and Star Receiver.
BearTracks is the newly introduced internal tracking system for enterprise-wide tracking of packages, assets and other materials that move with the global four walls of your organization. BearTracks provides the most advanced features of all internal tracking systems on the market. BearTracks is a modular product and the core module, the Receiving & Distribution Module, is now available. Other modules will become available in the near future.
BearTracks is a web-based solution incorporating technologies such as J2EE, JSP, DHTML and CSS. It uses recent and innovative web technologies to provide an easy-to-learn and an easy-to-use interface for mail services staff.
BearTracks can be deployed either internally or externally. When deployed internally, behind the firewall, it becomes an integral part of your operations by functioning as an internal information system. Alternatively it can be hosted externally, outside the firewall.
Star Receiver tracks inbound and outbound packages - and more - throughout your entire organization. You can use Star Receiver to track anything! Inbound packages, outbound packages, accountable interoffice mail, reprographic jobs, laptops, employee files, lab samples, cell phones... If you can move it, Star Receiver can track it.
Star Receiver accounts for every package every step of the way, from the moment they arrive to the point of delivery until they are finally delivered. Star Receiver is configurable to your organization's workflows, whether your operations occur within a single building, multiple sites, or all around the world. Star Receiver interfaces with shipping systems to facilitate your outbound shipping tasks. Our product is currently used by many Fortune 500 companies and by industry-leading facilities management outsourcing companies such as Oce Business Services.
