NACUMS 2008

It's hard to believe that the 2008 NACUMS Conference has come and gone. A lot of hard work went into this year's conference and paid dividends as those who attended have given rave reviews. We had one of the highest number of "first time" attendees in recent history and they were not disappointed. Although there are always glitches in holding a conference of this size, this year's conference was nearly flawless, the only major issue being the last minute cancelation of Anita Bizzotto. (A late evening storm blew through the DC area Sunday evening, damaged her roof, and flooded her home. Our hearts go out to her as she works to repair the damage.) From the New Member/First Time Attendee Orientation to the closing Round Table Discussions, sessions were well attended and filled with useful information. As this year's host and chair of the conference committee, Peggy Smith from the Washington University in St. Louis and the entire committee, put together an outstanding conference.

Over the next few weeks, we'll continue to post pictures for your perusal. For those of you who attended, thanks for contributing to the sucess of the conference. For those who were unable to make it, we hope you can get a feel of the conference from the photos and hope to see you next year.
